Chapter 10 - A New Dawn at Villa Rossi

Two months later, the private maternity ward of New York Presbyterian Hospital was filled with the soft, sweet scent of baby powder and fresh white lilies.Julian Rossi—the ruthless billionaire titan who had once commanded boardrooms with an iron fist—was currently sitting in a plush armchair, holding a tiny, swaddled bundle against his chest with a look of absolute, terrified reverence.

In the hospital bed propped up against soft pillows, Elena watched him with a gentle, loving smile.

“Careful, Daddy,” Elena teased softly. “You look like you’re holding a live grenade.”

“This is far more dangerous than any grenade,” Julian whispered, staring down at the tiny baby girl sleeping peacefully against his heart, her dark eyelashes resting softly against her cheeks. “This is my entire world.”

The baby stirred, letting out a tiny, hiccuping yawn before curling her small fists closer to her face.

Elena reached out, her fingers brushing against Julian’s sleeve. “What should we name her?”

Julian looked up from the baby, his dark eyes locking onto Elena with a depth of love and devotion that words could never capture. He remembered the cold lobby of the Grand Alcazar, the terrifying darkness of the past eight months, and the miraculous miracle of her return.

“Hope,” Julian said softly, kissing the top of the baby’s head. “Her name is Hope Elena Rossi.”

Elena’s eyes filled with tears of pure joy. She nodded, reaching out to stroke her daughter’s soft cheek.

Outside the hospital window, the golden morning sun broke through the Manhattan clouds, casting a warm, brilliant light over the city skyline. The past was buried in the shadows where it belonged. The traitors were gone, the empire was secure, and their true life together was finally, beautifully beginning.
