Chapter 10 - A New Dawn

The private jet climbed steadily above the clouds, banking toward the crystalline blue waters of the Mediterranean.

I sat by the window of the spacious cabin, sipping sparkling water, watching the golden sunlight dance across the wing. Across the aisle, Samuel was reviewing international patent filings for my newly restructured global architecture firm, while my medical team monitored my vitals from the forward compartment.

My strength had fully returned. My hands were steady. My voice, clear and resonant, filled the cabin as I dictated a new directive to my legal team.

"Make sure the endowment for the animal sanctuary in New York is doubled," I instructed Samuel without looking up from my tablet. "And allocate five million dollars toward domestic violence and financial abuse research foundations."

Samuel looked up over his reading glasses, offering a warm, approving smile. "Done. The funds were transferred this morning."

I leaned back against the plush leather seat, closing my eyes for a brief moment to feel the profound peace of a battle won.

David and Jessica were currently spending their first of thousands of nights behind cold concrete walls, surrounded by the grey monotony of prison cells—far away from the billion-dollar fortune they thought was already theirs. They had played their cards with malice, arrogance, and cold calculation, believing they had silenced me forever.

They had forgotten one fundamental truth: true strength isn't measured by how loudly you speak, but by how quietly and decisively you strike back when justice calls.

The plane leveled off, cruising smoothly into the bright, endless horizon.

My voice was back. My empire was secure. And my future was entirely my own.
